YOUTH OPPORTUNITY

Helping young people realize their full potential

YOUTHCONNECT

YouthConnect

Year-Round Support, Life-Changing Impact

For many low-income youth, access to safe, structured, and enriching programs is limited — especially in the summer, when academic slide and food insecurity hit hardest.

That’s where YouthConnect steps in.

Operating year-round, YouthConnect provides vital programs that foster learning, motivation, and social connections. But in the summer, it goes even further— six partner agencies collaborate, sharing staff, resources, and even transportation to ensure youth can access multiple services seamlessly. Plus, we provide dinner and snacks, addressing food insecurity in a city where 1 in 4 children go to bed hungry.

Together, we’re creating pathways to success — every season, every year.

  • 📚 The opportunity gap is real—but we’re closing it. With Worcester’s youth facing higher rates of poverty and economic disadvantage, YouthConnect ensures they have the support they need to thrive.

  • ⏳ The time of day matters. Engaging youth during high-risk hours strengthens not just participants, but the entire community.
